Art has played a major part in the EY culture — nowhere better expressed than in the firm’s superb contemporary print collection, assembled over the past 40 years. The collection includes prints of works by established Canadian artists, alongside the breakthrough work of artists on the Canadian printmaking scene. EY sponsored the Great Canadian Print Making competition (1995-2005), taking Canadian printmaking to a new level.
Now, in conjunction with a move to a new Toronto office, EY is deaccessioning much of the collection, with the assistance of TAG Art Gallery.
Accordingly, TAG Art Gallery has created this special-purpose website to present hi-resolution images of contemporary prints which are available for your consideration. As of March 13, 2017, the second tranche of approximately 45 (framed) prints is being released for sale. (The first release was done in November, 2016.)
In order to view the prints, click on ‘All Artists’ in the Left Sidebar where you will be presented with nine Artist Groups. The prints in the latest release are in Groups 1-4. (About 55 prints remain from the first release, in Groups 5-9.) To view an Artist Group, click on it and you will be taken to the Title Page for the group. All of the images in the group will automatically load under the Title Page. Due to the file sizes of the images, speed of downloading will be a function of your electronic device. Scroll down at your convenience.
To view the Details Page for any print, click on its image for a list of the the following:
- Medium & Series #
- Image Size
(To return to your place in the scroller, use the ‘back arrow’.)
Thank you for your interest and please contact us by phone or e-mail (see Contact Us) if we may be of further assistance. Please provide us with the Image Number(s) which is in the title on the Details Page for each print.
